What to expect on race day:
The TRAIL 1. Elevation and Terrain 75% trail 25% road 2. If you are confused or not sure where to go (e.g. fork on the trail/road), stop and look for trail/ road signs. It is marked with either YELLOW CAUTION tape or This Way Arrow. 3. There will be marshalls on BIKE . You may ask them for directions. 4. Assuming it will not rain, runners will be exposed to the sun on certain parts of the trail (11km-25km). This area has no trees that will provide some shade. On FOOD and HYDRATION 1. All trail runners are advised to bring their own food and hydration. There will also be aid stations at KM 10, 25 and 36 (approx. distance only), but will be limited to water for refilling, some banana and boiled egg. 2. There are also sari-sari stores located near the aide stations where you can buy candies, bread or soda. Other info: * Start and Finish line will be at the DAP-AYAN Azul Resto, Timberland * Race will start at 6am * Cut-off time is 12 hours (6am – 6pm) * Race finishers will receive medal and Finisher’s Shirt. To be considered as FINISHER, runner must cross the finish line at the required cut-off time * Aide Stations and some Bike Marshals will have First Aid kits for minor cuts and bruises |
To Race Site:
1. From QC Circle/Philcoa straight to Commonwealth Avenue - Sandiganbayan 2. Turn Right in Sandiganbayan to IBP Road -Batasan 3. Batasan turn right to Batasan-San Mateo Road after the bridge turn left to Gen. Luna Ave from thereon you can see road signs/bikers going to Timberland, just follow them until you reach the race site. |
